Favorite Recipes
These are a couple of my favorite Recipes! I hope you enjoy!
Grandma Quetien's Refridgerator Pickles
3 c sliced cucumbers
1/2 c sliced onions
1/2 c sliced green pepper
1/2 c white vinegar
1 tbsp salt
1/2tsp celery seed
1 c sugar
Mix all together and store in refridgerator for 24 hours before serving.
Will keep in refridgerator up to 1 year.
Aunt Vesta's Million Dollar Fudge
12 oz pkg semi sweet chocolate chips
1 giant hershey bar broke into pieces
13 oz can evaporated milk
4 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 2/3 c marshmellow cream
1 tsp butter
1 2/3 c nuts (optional)
Combine chips and hershey bar in large bowl set aside.
Combine milk, marshmellow cream, sugar butter in a heavy pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Boil and stir 8 minutes. DO NOT BURN!
Remove from heat add to choclate in bowl. Beat until melted. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into 13x9 prebuttered pan. Cool before cutting.
