Conquer Blogging Block
If your having trouble figuring out what to put in your blog this is where you'll find it. Don't forget to branch out from these and be creative. Blogging is a really easy concept and your actually just filling the internet full of knowledge that you have regardless of what actual content your basing it around. No matter your main source of information a lot of these you will be able to apply no matter your niche.
Here are a few of my tips to get your started on the right path or to continue you to the next level. Don't forget to include the basics of blogging when applying these. You have to get the word out about your awesome blog post or your efforts will be in vain. I will include more on that in another post so be hitting that subscribe button so you don't miss that update.
Tutorials - Everyone has the ability to do tutorials no matter what your niche is. People love videos and this would be your best bet for including tutorials into your blog. If you prefer to write them out that is ok too! Some people do prefer the ability to read one step at a time and work along side you. I know I do. This can also be done with videos and the pause feature. I know this is a huge hit so if you have the ability and the knowledge about whatever it is you blog about to do this its always a grand slam.
Online Courses - Online courses are a great way to not only build your audience but also build your email list! This information is a great asset to many people. It doesn't matter what your product or what your preference in blogging. If your hoping to gain traffic this will do it. Offer up a free online course in whatever your niche is. Be sure to include a way to collect emails while offering your course. If your selling a product include an online course. "10 ways to use this product properly" Then offer this free course be sent to their email. You've accomplished two things. You now have their email to send them more information on the products your offering and you've encouraged them to buy your product and even told them how to use it.
Be a Problem Solver - The reason that people search Google and will eventually find you is because they are looking for a solution to their problem. Their Amazon stick remote won't work or they want to know how to make the best cupcakes. I recently wrote a review about the Amazon stick. I own this product and I know its flaws. I made sure to include all the information my audience needed. I let them know how i feel about the product whether good or bad and I solved their current or future problem. I hit it from every side. So if your selling pants tell people why. Be their solution to their problem. "You need these pants because they are a perfect fit for 90% of our customers. They are made sturdy to last years and if you don't like them we offer a 30 day money back guarentee." Calm their fears and solve their problem.
Create Lists - Create lists that people can use efficiently. If your offering candles and you have your worst seller at forefront of your page you've done this wrong. Also create lists of information people want. They don't want to sit all day and Google the information they're looking for. We are a world of get it done fast. If your niche is blog post ideas. You want to create a list that is useful and effective for any blog. Make your list versatile if possible. The broader your list the more people you can 'solve problems' for. If you have recipes give them your Top 10 requested.
Offer Something Free - People love free items. Offer them something useful. Make it clear what you would like in return. If you want them to subscribe to your website, love your product so much they'll buy it, request a review, or whatever your request is. This is the way to get it done. If you know your product is top of the line (which I hope it is) and you just want to offer something free no strings attached and know they'll come back to buy that is a great way to build an audience.
Inspiration Posts - Who doesn't love a great pick me up? We all need a pick me up sometimes and this is where people are going to flock. They need to hear that they are great and they are loved. They need to feel special and that they can do whatever they want to do. I am a firm believer in you can do whatever you put your mind to no matter how difficult it may seem at first. Let them know they aren't alone and how to keep moving forward. (Don't forget to visit our inspirational page at the top of the page.)
Recipes - Everyone loves a good recipe! Try to do a variety to gain the largest audience. If you cook make an effort to do things separately. Crock pot cooking, deep frying, oven bakes, etc. If your baking use something like sweet treats, breads and dough, baked meats, etc. They are going to view most of these at first by a specific recipe they are searching but it will lead them back to other things you have posted in the same area of interest. If they Google crock pot chicken what will they find? 5 Recipes for different types of crock pot chicken?
Personal Finances and Budgeting - Lots of people are struggling these days. They are struggling to make enough money. They are struggling to handle their money properly. If you are good with your cash flow help your fellow man out. Let them know your tips and tricks to successfully saving money, saving for a large buy, investing, whatever it is your good at. If you can tell these people how to make money so they don't have to struggle, do this.
This is my own personal opinion on this matter just because I have been there. Offer them an option to try something that helped you make money but don't promise them results of any kind. I personally have ways to make money on my blogs. Just remember that what works for you may not work for someone else. Your only offering tips, tricks, suggestions.
I hope these were helpful tips and I hope you take the time to be creative and branch out from these. There is so much you can gain from creating great content posts no matter if your just starting or you have been blogging for a while. Don't forget to subscribe for more updates on future posts!
