Amazon FireStick Review and minor fixes

Image
Do you pay for cable? Have satelite? Use Netflix? Amazon Prime Video? The main reason I wanted to do a review for Amazon FireStick  is because of how often we use it. We got this a little while back and were tired of paying for cable. Not only did we have cable we also had Amazon Prime. It seemed pretty silly to be paying for Amazon Prime because there was nothing we wanted to watch on cable.  It was amazing what we were paying to have cable and watched so little of it. So since we had prime we went ahead and ordered this to give it a try. There are so many options to watch from on this and really you only need one or two.  The things we use on this are the Amazon Prime and SlingTV. The Amazon is paid for by year so we have no monthly bill for it. Sling is $20 a month unless you add packages to it. So depends what you want to have available to you. But we get all the stations we got with our cable for such a HUGE amount less!  I realize that now a lot of TV's already

Earn Big Money | Referrals | Apps | Free Money

Image
Have you ever wondered why there were so many people advertising for you to download apps? The answer is easy. Because you can earn big money with no cap by doing referrals. When you think of working online what do you think? You think about affiliate marketing, advertising, recruiting, etc right? Now consider what you would make doing affiliate marketing for example. I work a program that pays $2-4.00 per lead but ONLY if the people you sign up don't cancel or unsubscribe before you get paid. Plus you get paid weekly, bi weekly, or monthly. The best thing about App Referrals is you can cash out whenever you reach the minimum payout. I have noticed a lot of Apps min. payout is $20-30.00. Some Apps even pay you right away. That's cash in your pocket depending on which app you've chosen to refer people to. So to help you guys out I am going to give you some of the higher payout apps. Some of them pay immediately some are really easy to get to your goal even without

Regalo Easy Step Walk Thru Gate

Image
Let me start by saying how much I LOVE this gate! I have a toddler who knows no bounds! The way our family room is set up is a little awkward for a gate. There is a single step going down into our hallway. The only space to put a gate is either on the actual step or the top landing. Neither of which is safe. We had one that was an Evenflo set up but we had to add a step stool to get our legs over the gate. It was really not convenient to get over especially for our 7 year old. When I got released from the hospital after surgery I wasn't able to get over the gate and it had to be taken down. It's really a safety issue not being able to keep your child in the 'safe zone'. If your a parent we all know that safe zone is a really important part of every day life. So just like any other baby proofing parent I had to find an alternative to the gate we had. I searched the internet until I found the Regalo Easy Step Walk Thru Gate . You know how some products always sound

Yoonla ~ What you should know ~

Image
I've been reviewing some online apps lately and explaining how they work and how to go about making the most of them. If you've been reading along then you know I am all about making money from home. I got into the apps quite some years ago and things have progressed from there. Recently I decided I would take a leap and try an affiliate company. I've never done anything with affiliates so I had a lot to learn. I will first explain How Yoonla works. This is my experience with Yoonla Digital Marketing Platform. Yoonla Yoonla was founded by Reno Van Boven. The company base is located in New Zealand and the program is available worldwide. Yoonla is a CPA (cost per action) affiliate program. This means that when you join Yoonla you will be earning money per lead you refer back to Yoonla Platform. To have the ability to earn commissions you need the tools to do so. First things first you need to sign up for a free membership with Yoonla. You will be sent a confirmation e

Chef Remi Spatula

Image
I was in need of spatulas for baking. The ones I have are pretty cheaply made and the spatula top piece keeps falling off... Really annoying when your trying to pour batter into a pan and lose the tip in your mix! The handles were thin and flimsy so if you had a thick batter you had to hold the handle closer to the spatula piece so the handle would not bend. I was not much for baking in my younger years. Now that I have kids they love homemade baked goods. I assumed that all spatulas were the same really...  I ordered Chef Remi Spatulas on Amazon to test them out. They came quickly within a couple of days. Its always nice to have Amazon Prime. I was really excited when I got them the handles were really thick and didn't bend! The tops seem secure and heavy duty. This was all great and well but I needed to try them out to know for sure if this was going to be a match made in heaven! I decided it would be nice to make some brownies for the family. Of course no more time had

Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play, My Review, Like it or Hate it

Image
I'm going to tell you guys about my Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play. I had my son premature June 11, 17. We weren't exactly prepared completely because we still had some time before he was to arrive. He needed to spend 3 weeks in the hospital for medical reasons so we had a little time to prepare things but not long. My husband bought us a car seat, Evenflo of course, we have always used Evenflo or Graco. Depending what size we needed. My mom had ordered a Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play and we were just anxiously waiting for it to arrive. My mom was so excited! She was thrilled to be buying something for our new little man, her 8th grandchild. She did that with all of her grandchildren and bought them something useful. She received it a few days before our son was released from the Special Care Nursery. She was so anxious to see how it looked all put together. So the next day she made plans to come over and visit our other kids while I put it together. Assembly was fairly e

Facebook Groups for Finding Work at Home Opportunities and Posting Ads

Image
I've had some people asking me for Facebook groups that they can post their ads in and/or find work from home opportunities. I decided to throw together a list to get you guys started. Please remember that mass posting on Facebook WILL get you banned so please do not do that! Posting in Facebook groups is a good way to make a quick buck if you want to do it in a hurry especially if you are doing referrals. There are a lot of people doing referrals for CPA companies and apps in these groups. Just remember that this may be a quick way to earn a few bucks if you need but it in no way replaces the fact that if your going to be doing a work at home job you need to be blogging, Tweeting, setting up a business page, and other things to connect with the right people. These connections are going to be your main source of income. Facebook groups are NOT the way to go for steady income. These are only some of my groups and I will likely add more later on so keep checking back. You can a

Work at Home Mom

Image
Working at home has become the new thing these days especially for moms. I personally know the struggle of wanting to help financially. Childcare has increased a great deal and under some circumstances it really is cheaper almost to stay at home with your little ones.  I know I was working 2 part time jobs one on the weekends catering and one during the week at the local store. I was relying on another mother to watch my daughter while I worked during the week. I worked 3 days sometimes more sometimes less. I remember paying her one week and I had $3.00 left. From that day I decided I was going to work from home. I didn't know how but I was going to do it.  Mothers can do a lot of different things to earn money from home and I'll touch base on a few that I hope will help in your search as I've been here too...  I obviously cannot touch everything so if you would like to add something please leave that in the comment area below.  Make Money Apps These

Marketing Twitter & Increase followers

Image
I am going to touch base on something that I tried recently in my marketing venture. I was def struggling with the social media aspect of working in marketing. I can pretty well figure out Facebook on my own considering I've been on it for a number of years. Although not for marketing etc. I can still find it pretty easy to figure out things about it I need to know. It is just more familiar to me. What I REALLY struggle with is the things that are unfamiliar to me. Yes, such as Twitter! I feel as though as I get older the more lost I become with some of the new technology and items that go with it. It seems in the past couple of years I find it hard to even work my own tv! Granted.. My husband has tv boxes, Amazon Fire Sticks, and computers hooked to our tvs! That is a lot to learn to use. I am not even sure how I really even ran into SocialQuant to be honest. I think probably a Tweet. Who would have thought? Anyway... So they are doing a Free 14 day Twitter Challenge. If yo

Make Real Money with Apps

Image
I'm not sure about you guys but I LOVE money making apps! Over the years I have tried a ton. Some I really prefer over others. I have not run into any that have not paid up although I am sure there are some out there. I wanted to throw some of them out there for you guys to check out yourselves. These are merely my own opinion and I think everyone has a different experience with many apps. You have to consider how the app works, your location, what you have time to do or not to do, and a lot of other things. I personally have a lot of issues with any sites or apps that want you to do surveys. I live in a small town in the middle of Ohio. Nothing special happens here, I'm not close to any large cities, my geographical location kind of stinks. Nobody wants to offer me surveys. I avoid these kind of apps and websites for the most part. Although there is one that I will run by you guys later that I do enjoy and have redeemed from. Perk  - Referral code :   c1d92b59 So this

Family Dinner for the Average Joe

You know I have spent a lot of time scanning the internet for recipes for my family. Some quick recipes for nights when the kids have sports and some that take a touch longer to make. I find its really hard to find something that 6 people agree on for a meal especially with having smaller children. I am no chef by no means and a lot of the recipes I run across always include an ingredient I have either never heard of or never buy! I wanted to throw this week worth of dinners together for those other busy mothers that also have a hard time finding something their family will chuck down the hatch even in a hurry before game time. Also note that I make a lot of homemade meals. I don't generally measure anything. I learned from my mother and grandmother and I do a lot by sight! Don't be afraid to adjust some of these recipes to taste or sight. Crockpot Dinner Monday - Beef Manhatten My family loves Beef Manhatten! It's quick and easy to make on those days when you don'

Work at Home

Image
Let me first say that when you have children at home this is always at the forefront of your mind! Childcare these days is very pricey and sometimes it is more of a benefit to work from home then to spend 8-12 hours of the day at work while paying someone else to be with your little ones. My journey to this actually started many years ago. I had seen on facebook about these apps that pay you to do stuff. I decided I'd try one out. My husband thought I was being ridiculous and really I did too... Who on earth would give you money for watching small clips on your phone or whatever it is that you may be doing? I finally got to cash out my first time and I waited for 2 weeks thinking 'ah well at least I tried...' Then a gift card showed up in my email. Holy crap! I was addicted! I hunted google and downloaded multiple apps. It was the start of a monster! I still do my apps and still love them just as much. I've expanded from just money pay apps to digital coupons a
