Couponing

Image
I LOVE to make money and I love to save money!! I wanted to throw out some ways to get some cheaper items. Don't get me wrong I'm no Krazy Coupon Lady!! But I do pretty well when saving on items I'm already buying. First and foremost Don't get sucked into coupons! What I mean by this is if you are not already going to be buying it and you are going to use it then that's great. But don't buy just because you have a coupon and are saving money and you think its a great deal. If your not going to use it then you are wasting money instead of saving. When I get ready to go shopping I start by making a list of things we NEED. I also make a list of things we WANT. I then report to my apps and start clipping coupons. Pay attention to these apps as most have special coupons as well. I'll tell you about some of these as I explain some of the apps that I use. Some of you may not have some of the same stores around your area so google and see what is in your are...

New app!! Yay!!

1Q.com I love trying new apps!  <3 So this one is called 1Q you get paid directly to paypal after answering a question. You can pick to earn .50 per question or .25. If you choose .25 you get more questions. I wanted to hold on with this one to let you guys know until I tried it out. Yep! As soon as you answer your questions it goes directly into your paypal account. How awesome! No waiting to accumulate points to redeem gift cards. You can refer other people as well and still get paid directly to your account. Love fast easy money.. Waiting for an amount to redeem a gift card not really my thing :)

Eclipse

Image
Coming Aug 21, 2017  There will be a total solar eclipse come Aug 21, 17. I don't know about you guys but my family is very excited!  What is a solar eclipse? This is when the moon reaches the point directly between the sun and earth causing a shadow on earth. The last total solar eclipse that was seen from the northwestern states of the US was  Feb. 26, 1979. The next will not be until  October 14, 2023 and will be visible from Texas to Maine.  Don't forget to wear protective glasses!! You can buy these on Amazon or at Walmart. You can also make your own viewer at home. Check your local library as some will be giving these away for free! Read More Links: Space.com NASA Viewing Eclipse including homemade viewer

Crowdfire

Image
I wanted to touch Crowdfire for just a minute. I have to say I'm not very Twitter savvy so this app has helped me a great deal. It has some nice little features and is designed to look like a phone/messaging. Its really simple to understand and answer questions. It completely walks you through the steps of building up Twitter followers without following 500 people who are not interested in what you are providing or sharing. Features including a daily update of followers, unfollowers, etc.  Next step they give you some things that they think relate to the types of items you Tweet or ReTweet that Crowdfire will share for you and they will give you the option to 'share at best time' Really neat feature! They also include how many of these posts they recommend to share to keep things active. You can add multiple accounts including Facebook and it will share to one or all of your accounts. Then you will be asked to follow people who are following you already and...

Grocery Apps

There are three shopping apps I can think of off the top of my head that I have personally used. Ibotta, Receipt Hog, and Checkout51. A good way to be frugal and save some money. They do take a bit of time. It's been a while since I've used these apps. It really depended on what I was buying at the grocery if I used these apps or not. Plus I found it difficult in my busy life to make sure I was redeeming the correct amount during the correct time frame. I spent a few times where I had bought something specifically because it was on the app only to come home and try to redeem to find out I had done it on the wrong date. Slightly annoying. When I had less children I had time to investigate everything. I would sit and make lists of what I needed and where I need to buy them. These days it is more complicated with 4 kids at home, sports, dinner, work, appointments etc. If you have the time to do these I highly recommend it! Ibotta and Checkout51 These two apps are really sim...
